Onboarding
Onboarding that gets the right people to value before the paywall
Many subscription trials start on day one, so onboarding decides whether the paywall arrives as a fair offer or an interruption. I start by asking what each screen is for. A personalisation question stays only if a later screen uses the answer. A permission prompt comes after the user has seen why it matters, not before.
You get a flow map first, with the reason for every step written beside it, then the screens. If you have funnel numbers, I use them to decide which steps to cut, merge or move.

From a client
Fokhrul delivered outstanding work as the head designer for my app and ERP portal, and I genuinely enjoyed working with him. He consistently went above and beyond the intended scope, applying deep thought to user flows, system processes, and overall design logic. His communication was excellent throughout the project, and he was very flexible with how I shared instructions and feedback. What stood out most was his strong understanding of my requirements, not just from a technical perspective, but also with awareness of my situation and constraints. Fokhrul was nothing short of exceptional in his delivery, and I would gladly work with him again on future projects.
